2010 WSOPThe World Series of Poker (WSOP) is the largest and most prestigious poker event in the world, having awarded more than a billion dollars in prize money and the prestigious gold bracelet, globally recognized as the sport's top prize. Featuring a comprehensive slate of tournaments in every major poker variation, the WSOP is poker's longest running tournament in the world, dating back to 1970.

2009 had the most entries in WSOP history. Well over 60,000 poker players from over 115 countries battled for almost $175 million in prize money and of course 57 golden bracelets.

2010 WSOP Qualifiers


The 2010 competition will run between May 27 and July 17. Just like last year the final table of the Main Event will take a long break and will be played in November. In addition to the 2010 WSOP Main Event, players will be also vying for the Player’s Championship which features a $50,000 buy in.

A total of 57 poker tournaments will be held in all the following poker forms:

- No Limit Hold’em
- Limit Hold’em
- Pot Limit Omaha
- Omaha High-Low Split-8 or Better
- Seven Card Razz
- Seven Card Stud
- Seven Card Stud High-Low Split-8 or Better
- 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball
